Our factory is dedicated to developing eco-friendly bamboo and wooden products. Our latest development is to use the cut branches of mulberry trees to manufacture the beautiful Rainbow wood flooring product. By reducing previous methods of disposing of this timber, and using our manufacturing technology, we are enforcing our commitment to saving the environment.
Silk has been grown in China in abundance since ancient times and the silkworms food source comes from mulberry leaves. Consequently, there are many many mulberry trees. During Autumn mulberry trees lose their leaves leaving bare branches. At this time the farmers cut back the branches of the mulberry trees to maintain a manageable height and regenerate new growth for the next season.
As branches re-grow every year, raw material is available continually бн a natural eco-friendly cycle.
From these cut branches, we manufacture the beautiful Rainbow wood using the same technology and water-borne polymers used to create Bamboo flooring.
Density can reach 1.2g/cm3, providing a much better and firmer product than the normal solid wood flooring.
